He is Risen

Hi friends!

I have been wanting to have more of a structured approach to how I observe the Easter season each year, and so I've made this calendar for Easter week. I would love for others to be able to use these ideas as well, especially since we have more time to be with family this year. Please email me or comment any suggestions or experiences you have with this!

There are a TON of resources included, so use whatever you think will serve your family best. Happy Easter!

xoxo

Sara

NOTES

Easter is determined by the first Sunday after the Paschal full moon, which is the first full moon on or after 21 March
All video links are produced by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Some Bible videos depicting the crucifixion may be graphic for small children, so I included child-friendly ones as well
To help young children with scriptures, you may consider using scripture story resources that include images and simplified language
A holiday “kickoff” in our family usually includes a new meaningful decoration, book, or activity with the family to help set the tone for the upcoming event
For other decorating ideas and activities, see my Pinterest page here
A special thanks to the Robert and Julie Coray family, John and Michelle Sargent family, and Brother Eric Bacon for their contributions of time, tradition, faith, and talent.
